  2. Thanks for visiting my blog. It is great to find yours. I have a secret desire to live in Seattle although I've never actually even visited there. From what I read and hear, it is the ultimate place to garden.

  6. Hi Tatyana

I have a big regard for apple trees. When they're old the trunks look gnarled and really interesting. I bet if that tree fruits well the branches will 'weep' under the weight. Beautiful

  8. What a great old tree. I have one in my pasture. Very old and twisted. Some long ago farmer planted it and his wife no doubt made applesauce and jelly. Years ago my horses stood in its shade and ate the fallen apples. Now the deer pick up what falls.

  10. Lovely! Dogs and gardens, two of my favorite things (as long one's not digging in the other!). Thanks for your comment on the TLDBlog and for listing it on your blog!

  11. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this picture with me! It is very sad but that apple tree, little old house and fence don't exist anymore. I came there one day and saw that everything dissapeared. They cleared the spot and, probably, will build some office or self storage or something else that won't please anyone's eyes. I hope that the people got a nice new house and that the dog is happy in a new place. Then, why am I so sad? I guess this place reminded me of something... It was like a window into a different world. Now, that window got shut.

  13. Svetlana: очень рада твоим отзывам, Света! Можно и по-русски писать.Ничего не осталось там, пустое место, а может, что-то уже начали строить.
